The Afrodeutsche Organisationen program is focused on financially supporting organizations dedicated to the advancement of blacks in education, academia, politics, legal and work life. Overall the program’s primary focus is mainly German black citizens who were born in Germany and not blacks that are NOT German citizens It is especially interested in funding afrodeutsche organizations focused on providing scholarships, extra curricula activities and IT training to young blacks in Germany Another area the program focuses on is funding lawsuits in landmark cases that deal with protecting the civil rights of black Germans in discrimination cases. Politische Partizipation: Another area it focuses on is funding initiatives that encourage German blacks to run for office in Germany and higher government office in Germany on state (Landesebene) and national level ( Bundesebene).
